German for beginners Lesson 4 – Danke

📚 Vielen Dank!
Thanks a lot

Ich danke dir!
I thank you!

📚 Danke – Bitte!
Thanks – You’re welcome!
Bitte – Danke!
Please. – Thanks.

🎓How to use it?
Usually “Danke” is followed by the other
person saying „Bitte!“ and the other way around.

Ein Hähnchen bitte! Danke! 🍗
A chicken, please! Thanks!

However, in this case the person is
saying both „bitte“ – please and „danke“ – thanks
